Hi parents and children, I hope you're all staying safe in this difficult time
There will be PE challenges and fitness challenge videos for the children to do on a weekly basis.
Please see the PE challenges for children to complete as a remote learning task. These can be done with siblings or on their own. Parents please feel free to have ago with the children too.
Tasks will be grouped into KS1: foundation, year 1 and year 2 and then KS2: year 3 to 6 to complete.
Tasks will be seen as images attached to the PE section of the remote learning tab on the website.
The challenges get progressively harder when moving on from the yellow, green and red challenges for Foundation and KS1. Challenges for KS2 are the blue, pink and black challenge cards.
The challenges for each KS take approximately 15 to 20 minute to do.
If any parents can send any photos of the children doing these challenges to me via DoJo that would be fantastic, I can then up load them on to the website and to school DoJo.
I will be uploading videos of challenges for the children to also have a go at on a weekly basis both on here and the school PE facebook page. This is called 'Owston Park Primary PE' so please parents add the schools facebook page to access PE related exercises for the children.
Any ideas you may have or questions then please get intouch with me on school DoJo.

The School Games Active Championships is a national activity campaign to help young people across the UK to #StayInWorkOut using the video-based platform powered by TopYa!. New challenges will be available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday to engage with.
Primary and secondary-aged children can join the School Games Active Championships at any time with free active challenges being set via videos within a designated School Games version of the TopYa! Active app. All they need to do is download the app, register as a player and type in the Invite Code 23880.
Children practise the challenges, then submit their best video using a mobile device to receive personal coaching feedback from the TopYa! team of experienced virtual coaches. Points are earned for each video submitted, leading to climbing leaderboards and winning prizes!
The TopYa! Active app is committed to online safety and meets rigorous COPPA and GDPR safeguarding standards. No one can communicate within the app. All children can do to communicate with one another is give each other a virtual ‘high-five’, which functions like a social media ‘like’.
Video content is suitable for young people of all ages and abilities, with regular submissions from National Governing Bodies of Sport.
