We understand that remote learning can be challenging at times and we try to plan, teach and set work and activities that can be completed at home as independantly as possible.
We are very grateful for the support and feedback that we have had from parents throughout this time. Thank you. We are proud to be part of the OPPA family.
Remote Education Survey
Thank you to all who took the time to complete our remote education survey.
Here are just a few of the many positive comments from the question 'what is working well'.
We have looked at the suggestions offered for the 'even better if' question. Here is what we have done so far.
Paper based work is available that compliments the work done online. If you require this please just contact your class teacher on Dojo or by email.
Each Year group is looking at ways of introducing at least 1 'screen free' day a week to help reduce the amount of screen time. The class teachers will explain when this is via Dojo.
Staff are pre recording some of the lessons so that they can be watched as many times as needed and key learning can be repeated. Staff are also offering intervention Zoom lessons which can be accessed by any child who is struggling or needs consolidation.
Alongside our no screen days, staff are also planning a range of creative activities across the curriculum subjects, including activities for the 'I am Legend' project.
Here are some of the daily comments our staff receive, thank you so much for your continued support during this time.
