Lottery Funded 'Can Achieve' Project.

Lottery Funded 'Can Achieve' Project. 1

Mr Johnston applied for funding from the Big Lottery Fund 'Awards for All' scheme. In February, it was confirmed that school had been accepted to run a project for our children. The project will provide the children with a variety of clubs and new equipment for P.E. lessons, playtimes and after school. The money will enable school to fully fit out our hall with new gymnastic equipment. The project will run from after the Easter holiday until March 2018.

We will keep updating the website on how our 'Owston Park Primary School Can Achieve' project is progressing.

We are a Centre of Excellence.

Mr Johnston contacted 'Relish Bar and Grill' about sponsoring a new kit. We are really grateful to them for agreeing. The kit is excellent and will make the children feel proud and look more professional when going to competitions

Lyndsy James from Active Fusion came into school to work with staff on 'Real P.E.'. They took part in activities involving 'Real P.E.' for Key Stages 1 and 2. Staff did warm up and main sessions. The aim was to upskill staff in 'Real P.E.', give them confidence and keep them up-to-date with P.E. A big thank you to Lyndsy James for delivering this training.
