We are proud to be a Children’s University School

We have developed our provision significantly over the past four years, with more than 150 pupils now enrolled. Children’s University plays an important role in our commitment to providing high-quality enrichment opportunities that inspire children to develop new interests, talents and aspirations beyond the classroom.

Our Children's University Coordinator, Miss Crossley, has shared the school's successful approach at the South Yorkshire Children's University Conference, supporting other schools across the region by sharing effective practice and innovative ideas.

All of our school clubs are registered with Children's University Stamp Codes, allowing children to earn learning hours through a wide range of enrichment experiences. We also provide access to approved activities outside of school, and our list of available Stamp Codes is updated regularly to ensure families can access the latest opportunities.

Parents and carers can keep up to date with new Stamp Codes, competitions, events and announcements through our dedicated Children's University ClassDojo page.

We are committed to offering a diverse range of enrichment experiences and have previously delivered several South Yorkshire Children's University Project in a Box programmes, including projects focused on Climate Action and Artificial Intelligence. These opportunities encourage children to develop important life skills, broaden their horizons and foster a lifelong love of learning.

Through Children's University, we aim to ensure every child has the opportunity to explore their interests, celebrate their achievements and develop the confidence, character and aspirations needed for future success.
